Bridge

The final design consists of three 'pods', inspired by the valley it 'grew' from, 'the three sister's'. The pod's all seem to be forcing themselves out from the "world", trying to "secure the power of freedom". The highest positioned pod symbolises the powerful "leader", hence why it's Angela Merkel's office.
The 'organic' structure gives a powerful, dominant presence within the landscape, also emphasising the concept of power.

SketchUp

Without Mesh Smooth modifier, ready for exporting.

After plenty of experiments, back and forth exporting/importing into crysis, this is the final 'organic' bridge.

Dining Table

Dining table in sketchup.

With issues after exporting into SketchUp, the structure needed to be altered to limit the amount of faces on model. therefore the smoothing modifier had to be removed.

After watching a few tutorials and experimenting with different forms in the program, this was the first organic element made. This is now being used for the base of the dining table.

Block Model Test

Conclusion. With the limitations of SketchUp, the 'organic' look I was after was achieved. With abit of research, the program 3ds Max seemed to be the best option in order to model the organic elements with needed.

Experimentation of the 'organic' structure. With a concept of 'power', the bridge needed a powerful presence in its landscape, while also being one with its surrounds. The idea of an 'organic' structure would give the appearance of something growing within the valley.

This was the initial draft concept model. Mainly used to test the overall scale and position. Seen here is the 'organic' central structure (lift shaft), rising up and over, back into side of the valley. This also forms two office spaces at either end within the bridge.
